Going with the reviews I’d read on YP, I took a chance. Dmitriy was able to take my appointment the same day that I called. With several items of clothing to alter, he made excellent recommendations and spoke honestly about my options. He made sure that I was happy with everything before he began work. And, much to my surprise and pleasure, he assured me same-day service! With holidays and social engagements, it was great being able to wear the newly-tailored garments right away. Dmitriy is someone I will continue to happily trust with garment alterations. No surprises, just good work exactly as he says it will be done!
Great job. Fast and well done. He added material to extend the length of a dress for my daughter. It was hard to tell that the material had been added–looked great.
Dmitriy Grunin is a Master Tailor. He carefully fit and altered several suits impeccably. He has done so multiple times for me and for members of my family. Moreover, he made important suggestions about fit for body style and what size/cut of garments would be best to yield the best post alteration fit. He simply would not let you leave with the wrong garment for you. He is modest in cost and does not artificially do things to inflate prices, rather, he is conscious of keeping costs to his client’s down. He has altered everything from Tuxedo, Suits, Sports Coats and Slacks for me. I will certainly use his services again.
I went to see Dmitriy on Oct 14. He was prompt in speaking with me and inspected my garment/jacket for alteration. He gave me a price which was very good and also offered to fix/alteration of my jacket while I waited, which was great. I needed to fix the inside of my jacket as well as pocket of the jacket outside where the stitching was coming off. Not only did he fix the required work but also provided express services. This is my first time with him and from now on I will always go to DG for all my alteration work. He is the expert at what he does. If you need any Alteration work, DG is the person to go with and I highly recommend him- two thumbs up!
Dmitriy was very professional and seemed to know what he was doing. He suggested several things as we were doing the first fitting. He was able to get all of the alterations done that same day even though I did not pay for ‘rush’ work. When I came back two of the three garments needed further alterations and he noted the changes and went back to get them done. He was efficient and detail orientated, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Once again Dmitriy did an excellent job in a very short amount of time, even though I said there was no rush. He was not sure about doing this job as he had not altered curtains before. We met twice before he did the job as he wanted to be sure that everything was right before he cut the curtains for the new windows. I was very grateful not only for the excellent job he did but that he was willing to take on the job at all. I had called around quite a number of places to find someone to do the job, but no one wanted to alter curtains unless they had made them in their workshops or were reluctant to make a commitment. Dmitriy gives 100% to his work.
I initially dealt with Marcia when I brought several dress pants in for alteration. She was very pleasant & professional, making a couple of recommendations concerning the alterations. When I picked then up, Dmitriy was in the store, had me try each pair on to ensure they were properly altered. He too was very pleasant & professional. I took a peacoat in that I had purchased from another store to have the sleeves adjusted. Tailor was very professional and took into consideration the way my current trench coat fit me (which is how I wanted the peacoat to fit). Originally the turn around time was supposed to be a week according to the store, but tailor called me the next day stated he would have it finished! With a turnaround time and prices like this; He has got a new customer!
